Fanged Menace

Lamia adds

Tank: The room is full of lamias. Gather them into a tight group, positioned slightly to one side so Poison Coil does not catch the stack, and keep them facing away from the group.

Dps: Clear the lamias first with area damage and interrupt their scream casts, then move to the boss.

Whip

Tank: A wide frontal tail attack on the aggro holder. Block or dodge it, and keep her facing away from the group; an unblocked hit knocks the group back and is followed by a heavy attack.

Poison Coil

All: She curls up and creates a large green poison pool. Standing in it drains health quickly and heals her for roughly 5% of maximum health each second. Move out immediately and attack from range until it fades.

Ganakton the Tempest

Lightning Breath

Tank: A frontal channel of roughly four seconds on the aggro holder. Hold the taunt so it does not land on a DPS or healer, and block or step out of the front. He does not turn while channelling.

Shock Pulse

All: Unavoidable group-wide damage and a brief stun. Keep heal-over-time effects active and avoid being at low health when it lands.

Lightning Pin

All: Relevant only for lower-damage groups. A shard pins one player in place and deals repeated damage; another player moves to them and activates the synergy to free them.

Sliklenia the Songstress

Heavy attack

Tank: Block the heavy attack, or be knocked down into a light-attack follow-up that is lethal. Keep her facing away from the group.

Scream

All: She moves away and screams, damaging the entire room. Her pet snake has coiled into a protective dome elsewhere in the arena; stand inside the dome to take no damage until the scream ends. Attacks on her still land from within it.

Pet snake

Dps: Do not attack the snake. Killing it removes the dome the group needs to survive Scream, and the group wipes.

Matron Ixniaa

Heavy attack

All: Block it. Unblocked, it almost always kills a non-tank and knocks a tank down. If she targets you, block and hold position; moving away only ensures the hit lands.

Double Lightning Splash

All: Roughly every ten seconds, two nested circles appear on a random player: a large outer ring and a small inner one. Move clear quickly. The outer ring is survivable; the inner one kills a non-tank. Do not stack with other players.

Lamia adds

Tank: Hold the lamia adds together with the boss, kept central so the group has room to spread for Double Lightning Splash.

Dps: Clear the lamia adds before committing fully to the boss.

Ancient Lurcher

Slam

All: A heavy attack with knockback. Block it every time; it knocks non-tanks down.

Shake

All: He shakes and scatters ground effects across the area. Interrupt the cast, and watch for effects beneath you.

Drain Beam

Healer: A green beam drains a random player over time and cannot be interrupted. Focus the target with heals.

Dps: If the beam is on you, shield or block through it; interrupts do not stop it.

Enrage

All: Below 50% health he gains a lightning charge and his ground effects deal much more damage. Keep away from him and keep the group at high health.

Sellistrix the Lamia Queen

Hard Mode: Invoke the Scroll of Glorious Battle before the fight (achievement: Snake Skinner).

Channeled Strikes

All: She raises her hands and calls down a predictable pattern of blasts around the arena. Wait them out, then regroup and resume.

Scream

All: She screams toward the tank for heavy damage and knockback, and it cannot be interrupted. If the taunt drops, she completes it toward whoever she last faced, often a DPS or healer. Block or roll out of the line as soon as she faces you.

Heavy attack

Tank: Block it. A missed block is a knockdown followed by a lethal hit.

Charged Water

Tank: If she enters the water she electrifies it, killing anyone standing in it. Hold her on the island for the whole fight, and only cross the water to reposition once Channeled Strikes has ended.

Damage shield

Dps: She maintains a damage shield for most of the fight, and critical hits do not land while it is active. This is the intended approach: slower, but stable.

Hard Mode

All: Hard Mode adds no new mechanics: considerably more health and damage, with Scream and Channeled Strikes occurring more often. A missed block or a dropped taunt wipes the group quickly.
