Lightning Strikes

All: Move out of the lightning damage circles as they spawn.

Immunity Shield / Pylons

Dps: When the boss shields and heals, destroy the Pylons it spawns to break the shield.

Spin Attack

Tank: Block the spin attack.

Healer: Step back out of the spin effect.

Dps: Step back out of the spin effect.

The Euphotic Gatekeeper

Hard Mode: Place the Challenge Banner located right at the entrance of the arena before pulling (Veteran only). Must be activated on every Hard Mode boss to unlock Zelvraak's Hard Mode.

Bristlepitch

Tank: If mounds are left unfilled, chain in the pangrits that spawn before they cone the group.

Healer: When you get Bristlepitch, use the synergy on a glowing pangrit mound before it kills you; otherwise step out of the group and drop it.

Dps: When you get Bristlepitch, run to a glowing pangrit mound and use the synergy on it before it kills you. If you cannot reach one, drop it away from the group.

Boss mobility

Tank: Do not chase him. Post against a wall, for example by the exit door, and stay there; he comes back to you.

Healer: Do not chase the boss; move out of his way as he darts around.

Dps: Do not chase the boss; move out of his way as he darts around.

Husk

All: He summons a husk and steps aside; the husk then explodes for heavy damage, so get clear of it.

Twins

Dps: He summons a low-health mirror image. Bring both down quickly before it explodes.

Teleport

Tank: Reposition and re-taunt after he teleports.

Healer: Avoid the effect where he lands after a teleport.

Dps: Avoid the effect where he lands after a teleport.

Battered / Gaping Wound

Healer: His light attacks stack Battered and Gaping Wound on the tank. Keep extra healing on them.

Xzyviian

Heavy attack

Tank: Block the heavy attack.

Fire Cone

Tank: Keep the boss's front, the flame barrage, pointed away from the group.

Healer: Stay out of the frontal fire cone.

Dps: Attack from the side or behind to stay out of the frontal fire cone.

Mortar

All: Keep moving; the mortar barrage leaves fire effect zones on the ground.

Ninja Flip

All: Block or move clear of the airborne slam.

Varzunon

Hard Mode: Place the Challenge Banner directly at the approach edge of the circular sacrificial arena platform before pulling (Veteran only). Must be activated on every Hard Mode boss to unlock Zelvraak's Hard Mode.

Absorb / Growth

Healer: Keep the group at high health as Varzunon grows; his damage climbs with every skeleton he absorbs.

Dps: Burn the glowing blue Skeletal Sacrifices instantly before they reach Varzunon; each one he absorbs permanently increases his size, damage, and the arena-wide radius of his Stomp.

Necrotic Rain

Tank: Cast a projectile-absorb shield, such as Frost Blockade, over the group for Necrotic Rain.

Healer: Stand behind the DPS and heal through Necrotic Rain's simultaneous projectiles.

Necrotic Cage

Dps: When a player is caged in the giant hand, switch to it and break it quickly; they cannot free themselves and are taking damage.

Ground effects

All: Avoid the ground effects; they drop in a predictable pattern.

Stomp

All: The floor glows outward before Stomp lands. Get out of the radius.

Channel and Pound

All: During his ground-slam channel, random effects rain from the sky. Keep dodging.

Skeleton adds

Tank: Group the ranged and melee skeleton adds on the boss.

Dps: Control the skeleton adds with area damage without ignoring the white absorb skeletons.

Scaling Stomp / Pound (Hard Mode)

All: Massive expanding circular AOE centered on Varzunon. Can be roll-dodged, but its radius and damage scale up permanently with each sacrifice absorbed—if multiple reach him, it expands to engulf nearly the entire arena for a lethal group wipe. DDs must burn glowing blue Skeletal Sacrifices immediately.

Chralzak

Heavy and light attacks

Tank: Block its heavy and light attacks; keep it off the group.

Spin

Tank: Hold position and block through the spin.

Healer: Back away from the repeating spin effect.

Dps: Back away from the repeating spin effect.

Bombs

All: If a projectile targets you, move out of its landing shock effect.

Zelvraak the Unbreathing

Hard Mode: Place the Challenge Banner, to your left as you enter his room, before engaging (Veteran only). It works only if the banner was placed on every prior Hard Mode boss.

Sea Orbs

Tank: Stand on a corner pad so the two orbs spawn either side of you; keep a ranged direct-damage skill, such as Inner Rage or chains, to knock them up.

Healer: Never let a Sea Orb touch the floor; it is an instant group wipe. Push any near you up with direct damage.

Dps: Never let a Sea Orb touch the floor; it is an instant group wipe. Push any near you up with direct damage.

Sea Orbs (Hard Mode)

Healer: On Hard Mode there are four orbs. Heavy-attack the two behind the group with a restoration or lightning staff to push them up.

Dps: Players not hit by Soul Split cover the two far orbs during that phase.

Heavy Attack Cone

Tank: Roll through the cone heavy attacks; every heavy also drops a clone that heavy-attacks alongside him afterward.

Healer: Do not stand next to the tank; the cone and the clone heavies stack there.

Dps: Do not stand next to the tank; the cone and the clone heavies stack there.

Fear

All: On the skull icon, rotate your character's body, not just the camera, to face away from the boss until it disappears; wait for the necrotic wave to pass before turning back.

Soul Split

All: If your soul splits, follow the gold line, sprint through your soul, then rejoin. You cannot be healed and take a heavy damage-over-time effect until you do.

Soul Split (Hard Mode)

All: On Hard Mode two players split at once and their souls go to different walls. Stand slightly toward the tank so you can guess which wall is yours, and bring speed buffs.

Clones

Tank: Stay on your corner pad when he splits into four ghosts; the group takes the other three.

Healer: Take the pad opposite the tank so orbs are still covered; bash your clone.

Dps: One DPS per free pad; bash your clone. Kill order is your own clone, then the healer's, then the tank's.

Clone Class Theft (Hard Mode)

All: On Hard Mode a clone steals the class of whoever stands closest to it. Do not crowd your clone.

Afterlife / Realm

All: Halfway through, each player is sent to a solo instance. Stay out of the centre, which is instant death, run through the yellow ghosts to heal and gain speed, and use area damage on the swimming skeletons before they reach the middle; fewer skeletons means a smaller atronach on return.

Flesh Atronach

Tank: Pick up the flesh atronach after the Realm phase and face it away from the group.

Healer: Avoid the atronach's ground effect slam.

Dps: Bring down the flesh atronach that spawns after the Realm phase; its size depends on how many skeletons you killed. Dodge its ground effect slam.

Class Theft

Tank: The boss recolours his lich fire to match the stolen class. Call it out for the group.

Healer: He points his wand at a player for a large damage spike, then casts that class's offensive ability (Nightblade Cripple, Dragonknight Inferno, Templar Nova). Heal the spike and call the ability.

Dps: React to the stolen class ability: dodge cascading Templar Nova pools (Yellow), avoid lingering in front of Dragonknight Inferno (Orange), and purge Nightblade Cripple (Red).

Class Theft: defensive (Hard Mode)

Tank: On Hard Mode, Nightblade (Red) grants Consuming Darkness shroud healing the boss for 50k HP every second; Dragonknight (Orange) grants him a 250k Obsidian Shield barrier; Templar (Yellow) drops cascading Nova pools underfoot hampering clone bash interrupts.

Dps: On Hard Mode, burst through the 250k Dragonknight Obsidian Shield barrier immediately, out-damage the 50k/sec Nightblade Consuming Darkness heal, and purge Cripple DoTs.

Graves (Hard Mode)

Dps: On Hard Mode a grave can spawn on a dead player's body and spews skeletons until it is destroyed. Kill it.

Inferno

Healer: When he ignites flames above his head, keep heal-over-time effects and shields on the whole group; it is heavy sustained group damage.
