Oaxiltso
Hard Mode: Activate the Challenge Banner at the entrance to Oaxiltso's hollow before engaging (Veteran difficulty only; achievement: Miregaunt Masher).
Noxious Sludge Placement and Water Cleanse: Players targeted by Noxious Sludge spit must instantly break from the group and run outward into the surrounding water channels to drop their persistent poison pools away from the center combat arena. Main tank keeps Oaxiltso centered and facing strictly away from the stack.
Havocrel Add Priority and Interrupt Cadence: At 75%, 50%, and 25%, Havocrel Annihilators spawn. Off-tank taunts immediately and drags them into Oaxiltso for cleave. Assign dedicated interrupts on their Cinder Ring channels; allowing a ring to detonate causes catastrophic group wipe damage.
Savage Cleave
Tank: Oaxiltso delivers a ferocious physical claw swipe that inflicts a severe stacking bleed. Keep him pointed strictly away from allies and hold active block.
Noxious Sludge
All: Oaxiltso spits caustic sludge on random players. Marked players must sprint outward and drop the toxic pool in the water perimeter without clipping teammates.
Havocrel Annihilator Spawns
Tank: Havocrel Annihilators spawn at health thresholds. Off-tank must taunt immediately, point their frontal cleaves away from the raid, and prepare for heavy strikes.
Dps: Drop all focus onto Havocrel adds when they spawn. Interrupt their channeled fire spells and burn them down before their lava waves overwhelm the platform.
Mire Ground Stomp
All: Oaxiltso stomps the swamp earth, radiating arena-wide shockwaves. Hold active block through the tremor and step out of emerging mud geysers.
Flame-Herald Bahsei
Hard Mode: Activate the Challenge Banner at the ritual platform stairs before engaging Flame-Herald Bahsei (Veteran difficulty only; achievement: Death Ward Disrupter).
Death Touch Edge Placement Protocol: Players afflicted with Death Touch must immediately sprint to the outer rim of the arena to place their expanding Death Pool. Never run through existing pools—stepping into any death pool results in instant death. Drop pools neatly along the outer edge to preserve central combat space.
Prime Meteor Mitigation and Abomination Cleave: When Prime Meteor descends, raid members must spread outward slightly so impact circles do not overlap, holding block through the detonation. Off-tank taunts Flesh Abominations and Fire Behemoths, grouping them near Bahsei for cleave burn.
Sickle Slash
Tank: Bahsei slashes forward with dual ceremonial sickles, inflicting heavy physical burst and vulnerability. Maintain active block and keep defensive wards up.
Death Touch Pools
All: Bahsei places a ticking Death Touch curse on random players. Cursed players must sprint to the room perimeter to deposit the lethal black pool away from the group. Touching any pool is an instant kill.
Prime Meteor Impact
All: Massive fiery meteors fall from the sky targeting raid members. Spread out slightly to prevent overlapping circles and brace with active block.
Flesh Abominations and Behemoths
Tank: Colossal Daedric adds spawn throughout the encounter. Off-tank taunts and stacks them near Bahsei, bracing for heavy physical smashes.
Dps: Cleave down Flesh Abominations and Fire Behemoths alongside Bahsei before their pulsing area damage overwhelms group healing.
Xalvakka
Hard Mode: Activate the Challenge Banner at the base of the volcanic tower before initiating combat with Xalvakka (Veteran difficulty only; achievement: Hero of Rockgrove; title: Plainsbreaker).
Three-Tier Spire Ascent Strategy: The encounter ascends across three tiers: Platform 1 (100%–70%), Platform 2 (70%–40%), and Platform 3 (40%–0% Summit). When Xalvakka shifts platforms, sprint up the volcanic ramps without falling into lava. Main tank immediately establishes boss positioning on each new platform while off-tank intercepts Daedric adds.
Soul Split Clone Burn Assignments: At 70% and 40%, Xalvakka splits into three copies around the platform. Split the DPS evenly across assigned clone positions (North, East, West) and burst them down before their channeled wipe finishes. True Xalvakka carries distinct visual cues.
Devastating Slam
Tank: Xalvakka brings all four arms down in a crushing physical blow. Hold active block, keep full armor buffs active, and face her away from the platform center.
Corrosive Flames and Volcanic Geysers
All: Volcanic vents spew fiery lava geysers across each platform. Avoid stepping on glowing red fissures and dodge traveling flame waves.
Soul Split (Clone Phases)
All: At 70% and 40% health, Xalvakka divides into three mirror copies. The group must divide damage and eliminate all clones before their shared channel completes.
Volcanic Summit Execute
Healer: On Tier 3, molten lava floods the perimeter and fire rain intensifies relentlessly. Pump maximum group burst healing and cycle damage mitigation Ultimates.
Dps: Unload all Ultimates and execute abilities on Tier 3. Burn Xalvakka down before rising lava submerges the remaining platform.
